Background
My name is Adrian Kay, and I’ve been running my own Dream Doors franchise for the past 14 years. It’s truly been a life-changing experience.
From the moment I joined the Dream Doors team, I knew I was starting something that would not only give me financial independence, but also the freedom from the 9–5 grind. It gave me a lifestyle I never imagined was possible.
Opportunity
Being part of the Dream network opened up opportunities I didn’t even know existed. The support and guidance from the Dream management team helped me grow a strong, local business — and ultimately become a multi-award-winning franchisee, recognised both within the network and nationally. I was incredibly proud to receive Franchisee of the Year from FANZ, the Franchise Association of New Zealand.
One of the biggest highlights of my journey has been the community — connecting with like-minded franchisees, sharing knowledge, and having access to tools that really work.
Next Step: A New Franchise
After 14 successful years, I felt ready for the next step. I’d always had the ambition to become a franchisor myself, and expand beyond what I was already doing.
With the full backing of the Dream team, I spent a year planning and setting up Dream Bathrooms — a completely new national franchise brand, built with the same solid foundations and systems that helped me succeed the first time around.
