Derek has over 25 years in franchising in the UK, USA, New Zealand and Australia.
His role at the Dream Group includes helping business owners franchise their business; helping national franchises expand internationally; licensing marketing systems and methods to various franchise businesses; as well as growing some of the Dream groups own brands such as Dream kitchens, Dream Bathrooms, and EatGatherLove, expand on the world stage.
Richard is a seasoned tech entrepreneur and strategist with over 30 years' experience in business systems, automation, and franchise technology. As the founder of Solution Foundry and co-founder of Eat Gather Love in the US, Richard brings a deep understanding of innovation, scalability, and smart systems. Since 2010, he’s worked alongside Derek Lilly as CTO, developing the tech infrastructure behind Dream Doors and Dream Bathrooms. His background in AI modelling, enterprise systems, and marketing automation makes him the engine room of digital innovation across the Dream Franchising Group.
Sarah is a commercial lawyer with over 25 years’ experience in business and franchising. She founded her specialist firm, The Franchise Lawyer, in 2012 to support franchisors and continues to advise a range of businesses across New Zealand. Sarah has worked with some of the country’s largest companies and is a regular presenter on franchise and business law. She has been the trusted legal advisor to the Dream Group since 2007, supporting its growth across NZ, Australia, and the USA.
Philip is the founder of Franchise Accountants, a multi-award-winning practice dedicated to the franchise sector. With over 30 years’ experience in accounting and business, he has worked with more than 1,000 franchisees and 250+ franchise systems. Philip is a regular speaker and contributor to franchise publications, and is passionate about helping business owners succeed. His expertise and insight have earned him six Westpac Franchise Awards for Service Provider of the Year.
